For the convenience of our patients, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of: Cardiology Neurology Pediatric Pulmonology Urology Radiation Oncology Nephrology Endocrinology Optometry About the role Temporary Summer Intern Position The Imaging Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support within the Imaging Department. This role promotes efficient patient flow while adhering to strict safety practices in both high-magnetic-field and radiation environments. Key responsibilities include supporting patient comfort, maintaining clean, organized and properly prepared scan rooms, and assisting technologists with non-diagnostic clinical tasks. The Imaging Medical Assistant also supports departmental operations by completing related administrative duties, as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program and/or Allied Health coursework preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire. Strong verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with electronic health records (Preferred).
