Summer Youth - 2026

DUTIES:

Performs a variety of maintenance tasks at community building, elder residences and Tribal grounds and facilities. Janitorial work Operate mowers, and weed eaters Painting Debris pickup Additional duties as assigned by on site supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Reliability, timeliness, and good people skills Ability to understand, and execute written and oral instructions Must be willing to perform strenuous tasks outdoors, in all types of weather and varying times of day/week Must be willing to learn how to safely operate yard equipment Attend workshops/trainings as assigned Employment is contingent upon pre-employment background and drug screening.

REQUIREMENTS

14 to 18 years of age on your starting date Member of federally recognized Indian tribe Current enrollment in Cusick High school or; Kalispel Tribal member enrolled in any School GPA of 2.0 If your have any failing grades part of your work day will be summer school.
