Qualifications:

The Superintendent of RISD serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is the trusted leader and public face of the district for students, parents, staff, and themunity. The RISD Board of Trustees seeks candidates who demonstrate the following characteristics:

• The candidate should demonstrate strong Instructional Leadership
• Proven experience in leading and managing campus improvement
• Ability to effectively collaborate with a conservator
• Proven success in educational leadership and administrative roles within Texas public schools
• Demonstrated visionary leadership that has led to outstanding education oues
• Holds a valid Texas Superintendent certification (preferred)
• Prior administrative experience preferred
• Superintendent housing available, residency within the district is negotiable

Salary Range:
