Verdant Robotics develops AI-powered farming implements and data solutions for agriculture. Our Sharpshooter enables transformative applications across all crops and field types through the power of Verdant's proprietary Bullseye Technology with millimeter accuracy for weeding, thinning, and fertilization. We're building hardware that pushes what's possible - and we need hands-on builders who've been in the thick of it. Our core technology empowers farmers to grow more profitable food. We use computer vision and artificial intelligence to understand every part of every plant at a massive scale -- and with automated robotics, we close the loop and act on that information in real-time. Together with our partners, we are building environmentally-friendly, sustainable, and highly productive farms. What You'll Do Own end-to-end material planning across NPI and early production builds (EVT, DVT, PVT, ramp) Convert demand signals into purchase orders, supplier commits, and delivery schedules Manage PO lifecycle: creation, tracking, expediting, and issue resolution Maintain accurate system data (lead times, MOQs, safety stock, supplier commitments) Own Clear-to-Build readiness across all builds, ensuring material availability aligns with production schedules Identify shortages, mismatches, and risks early; drive mitigation actions cross-functionally Partner with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure build execution success Support S&OP planning by translating forecasts into supply plans and execution actions Maintain supply-demand alignment across changing priorities and imperfect inputs Own inventory accuracy, material positioning, and allocation across builds Manage excess & obsolete, shortages, and part transitions Drive kitting readiness and material flow to support production Act as day-to-day interface with key suppliers on delivery schedules and material readiness Support early supplier engagement for NPI and long-lead components Improve data integrity and reporting within ERP/MRP systems Create visibility tools (trackers, dashboards) for supply health and build readiness What You Bring 8+ years in material planning, production planning, or supply chain operations in hardware environments Experience supporting NPI builds Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (NetSuite, SOS, or similar) Experience with BOM structures, ECOs, and revision control Proven track record of material lead time management, supplier commits, and PO execution Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with incomplete data Bias toward action and strong ownership of outcomes Deep understanding of Clear-to-Build and production readiness mechanics Highly detail-oriented with strong operational follow-through Comfortable operating as an individual owner in a lean team Strong cross-functional communicator with the ability to work with engineering, operations, and suppliers Nice to Have Experience in robotics, ag tech, automotive, or complex electromechanical systems Exposure to contract manufacturing environments and build coordination Experience with early-stage startups scaling hardware operations Familiarity with inventory accounting concepts (E&O, PPV, etc.) Strong data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets, SQL a plus)Compensation Target:
$135,000 - $165,000 Verdant reserves the ability to adjust the compensation range based on the final candidate's experience, skillset, and geography.
