Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Embark on a dynamic opportunity supporting surgical excellence in a professional operating room setting. This 13-week assignment offers valuable experience in perioperative care, focusing on either Inverness or Hoover OMS locations.

Schedule/Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience as a Surgical Technologist (Non-certified or Certified), or ORT Nursing background Skilled in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures Familiarity with preparing instruments, equipment, and operating rooms Strong communication and collaboration skills with surgeons and surgical team members Adaptability to fast-paced surgical environments Current certifications (if applicable) and up-to-date immunization/tuberculosis screening

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring equipment and instruments are ready and sterile Assist with patient preparation before transportation to surgery Support surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures Collaborate closely with circulating nurses and other surgical staff to promote patient safety Follow strict protocols for infection prevention and instrument sterilization Handle specimens for laboratory analysis as instructed Maintain accurate documentation on case activities This assignment provides a chance to contribute directly to positive patient outcomes alongside a supportive surgical care team.
