Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of freshness, quality, and hygiene in all food preparation activities Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation to minimize waste Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Uphold safety regulations and cleanliness standards in the kitchen at all times Assist in developing new sushi menu items and presentation techniques to enhance customer experience Educate junior staff on sushi preparation techniques and culinary best practices Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi ingredients, knife skills, and presentation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Passion for culinary arts with an eye for aesthetic plating and creativity Familiarity with inventory management and ingredient sourcing Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred 5+ years of proven sushi chef experience is required Join us if you're eager to craft stunning sushi dishes that captivate the senses!
