In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized outdoor environment across our facilities. Your proactive approach will ensure that grounds are pristine, pathways are clear, and all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of maintenance tools, contributing to the overall appearance and functionality of our property. Duties Operate sweepers, skid steers, and power tools to clean and maintain outdoor surfaces such as parking lots, walkways, and landscaped areas Perform sweeping tasks including blowing out curbs, changing trash cans, litter pickup, and vacuum or broom sweeping to enhance curb appeal Use hand tools and equipment like shovels, rakes, and blowers for debris removal and site cleanup Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for all visitors and staff Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair Maintain equipment through basic mechanical knowledge, ensuring tools are in good working condition for daily use Skills Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot sweeping machinery such as street sweepers, skid steers, snow plows, handheld gas equipment Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and property maintenance practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform various maintenance tasks efficiently Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety standards on-site Join our team as a Sweeper Operator/Porter where your skills will directly impact the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
