SafeSplash Swim Schools® is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our Austin location. This role is an integral member of our senior management team and is directly responsible for operations, customer experience, staff leadership, and revenue growth . Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Swim School Manager with a strong sales background to oversee daily operations while actively driving enrollment, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is both a people leader and a sales-minded operator , capable of building relationships with families, converting inquiries into enrollments, and identifying growth opportunities within the business. This role involves managing staff, coordinating lesson schedules, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining instructional quality, and executing sales and marketing initiatives that support business expansion. Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership Supervise and lead swim instructors and front-desk staff, providing coaching, guidance, and accountability Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with safety standards and instructional best practices Coordinate class schedules, enrollment, waitlists, and student progress tracking Monitor and enforce safety procedures and compliance with health and regulatory standards Conduct staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluations Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all families and participants Sales & Revenue Growth Actively drive enrollment growth through sales leadership, lead follow-up, and conversion strategies Manage incoming inquiries, tours, and trial lessons with a consultative sales approach Improve student retention through proactive parent communication and service recovery Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities (additional classes, camps, clinics, memberships) Collaborate with ownership on revenue targets, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns Track and report on key performance metrics including leads, conversions, retention, and revenue Customer Experience & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address concerns Serve as the face of the swim school within the community Lead community outreach, partnerships, school programs, and local marketing initiatives Ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality customer experience from inquiry to ongoing enrollment Administrative & Reporting Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling systems, CRM management, billing, and reporting Maintain accurate records and provide regular performance updates to ownership Qualifications Proven sales experience , preferably in a service-based, education, fitness, or membership-driven business Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed enrollment and revenue goals Experience managing teams and leading through influence and accountability Background in education, teaching, or youth-focused programs preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families, staff, and stakeholders Knowledge of water safety standards and swim instruction best practices is a plusPay:
