In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and repairing swimming pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and functioning optimally. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our clients, creating enjoyable and safe swimming environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and passion for pool maintenance in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain pristine water quality. Conduct regular pool water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure proper sanitation and clarity. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed using hand tools and power tools. Maintain detailed service records of all work performed, including repairs, chemical treatments, and inspections. Identify potential issues with pool systems early and recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs to prevent future problems. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally, ensuring all equipment is properly prepared or stored. Follow safety protocols diligently during all service activities to protect yourself and clients' property. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment and perform repairs efficiently. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance procedures. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various repair tasks. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments throughout the day.
