We have arrived, and we are looking for the right people to help us continue raising the bar. Position Overview Raised Grain is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to serve as Taproom Manager. This is not a back-office role -- we need someone who is behind the bar with the team, leading by example, setting the standard for guest experience, and holding the taproom to the high expectations we have worked a decade to establish. Our operational playbook is in place, our team is strong, and our reputation speaks for itself. The right candidate will step in, own the floor, and elevate both staff performance and the guest experience through consistent, engaged, day-to-day leadership. The Taproom Manager is responsible for creating an excellent taproom experience by leading taproom staff, and coordinating with the brewery, kitchen, marketing, and sales teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing daily taproom/restaurant operations Upholding and reinforcing established service standards and operational systems Managing and growing RG-branded events, including, but not limited to, beer releases, brewery tours, Anniversary Party, etc. Inbound event promotion, booking, coordination, execution P.O.S management and reporting Controlling operational costs to stay within budget Ordering/inventory of taproom items Merchandise ordering/inventory Coordination with brewery staff for ordering beer Coordination with kitchen for seamless and high-quality service Overseeing our Pop-Up Beer Garden during summer months Taproom employee leadership, including scheduling, hiring, training and management Employee updates and communications Coordination of event promotion with "Marketing Team" Preparing reports for management Do you have what it takes to join our team? Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role Proven customer service experience as a manager Considerable food and beverage knowledge, including the ability to explain various beers to customers and staff Comfort working alongside the team on the floor during high-volume shifts Familiarity with restaurant management software Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Strong financial management skills Ability to occasionally lift at least 35 pounds What do we give you? $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
