Tax Senior Associate

We are seeking a full-time, self-motivated Tax Senior Associate with the following attributes: Ability to interact and communicate with clients and coworkers (written, verbal, and in-person) Experience in preparing individual and business income tax returns Ability to pay attention to detail, have excellent organization skills and multi-task Responsibilities Prepare tax returns, tax extensions and tax projections for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates Analyze, identify relevant issues, and respond to income tax notices Assists in other compliance projects (sales tax, business license, property tax) Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a public accounting or tax firm California-licensed CPA or with plans to obtain license preferred Degree in accounting or related business field preferred Understanding of tax concepts related to individuals and all types of business entities (LLCs, C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships, estates/trusts) Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, CCH Axcess and Lacerte preferred
