Job Description

Must be Teacher Qualified per DCFS Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and nurture young minds in an engaging educational environment. As a vital member of our team, you will create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning, growth, and development for children across various age groups. Your role will involve designing dynamic lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and fostering a love for learning through innovative teaching methods. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori, preschool, and toddler care principles to foster curiosity and independence. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education and early intervention to support each child's unique needs. Incorporate child welfare practices into daily routines to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all students. Engage children in activities that promote childhood development, including arts, physical education, and social interaction exercises. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning across early childhood education subjects. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to maintain an organized learning environment. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods, and literacy education best practices. Previous private school or Montessori teaching experience is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and team members dedicated to child welfare.
