Key Qualifications:

Hold or be eligible to receive a GaPSC Paraprofessional Certification before starting the assignment. Candidates with certification in hand or with prior paraprofessional experience will be given strong consideration. Passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Adaptability and strong communication skills for collaborating within a diverse educational setting. Ability to assist with classroom management, instructional support, and individualized student needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Offer daily academic and behavioral support to students under the direction of certified teachers. Reinforce lesson content through small group or one-on-one instruction. Foster positive student relationships and encourage classroom engagement. Assist with classroom preparations, organization, and instructional materials. Provide supervision during non-instructional times, as assigned. Adapt to evolving caseloads and support a collaborative and inclusive environment. This contract position aligns with the traditional academic calendar from August 4th, 2026, through May 26th, 2027, working standard school hours totaling 37.5 hours per week.
