Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the upcoming school year by working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract opportunity is designed for passionate educators interested in providing quality instruction in general education, with specialized needs for Art, Business Education, English, Social Studies, and Science teachers. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a focus on engaging and supporting a diverse caseload of learners throughout the 26/27 academic year.
Qualifications:
Current, valid South Carolina teaching certificate is required (no exceptions). Experience or strong interest in teaching at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels. Ability to adapt teaching methods to a range of subjects and student needs. Proven commitment to fostering academic success and personal growth for all students. Interest in one or more focus areas: Art, Business Education, English, Social Studies, or Science.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver curriculum and effective instruction to diverse classrooms in one or more content areas. Develop engaging lesson plans that meet state standards and address individual student needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to enhance student learning. Consistently assess, document, and communicate student progress. Maintain clear communication with families and support staff as needed.
