Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Travel Take the next step in your healthcare career with an opportunity specializing in X-ray imaging. This contract role seeks a skilled and motivated imaging professional committed to providing exceptional care and technical expertise within a collaborative medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional demeanor, consistently demonstrating excellent customer service skills with patients, visitors, colleagues, and physicians in alignment with service excellence and core values. Position patients accurately and perform a full range of radiographic examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure. Operate all radiographic equipment proficiently, with the flexibility to manage various modalities as needed by the department. Acquire and deliver high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes. Manage patient care thoughtfully, ensuring timely examinations, safeguarding supplies, and upholding equipment maintenance routines. Stay current in the radiologic technology field by participating in ongoing continuing education programs and internal trainings. Adhere to all departmental and facility policies to uphold the highest quality standards of care and service delivery. Take on additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Training and certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent preferred). Demonstrated experience performing X-ray exams and operating modern radiographic equipment. Strong understanding of positioning techniques and patient safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
