Qualifications/Experience:
Active, unencumbered Physical Therapist license (SC or compact) Prior hospital-based therapy experience preferred Strong knowledge of APTA standards and evidence-based practices Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional image Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care Leadership abilities in team or program development are a plus
Responsibilities:
Evaluate incoming patients using specialized testing Develop and implement individualized care plans targeting both short- and long-term goals Perform all treatments safely, collaborating with families and the multidisciplinary team Document care in accordance with professional and facility standards Mentor PTAs, providing guidance and feedback Participate in regular meetings, educational sessions, and service improvement initiatives Help maintain a safe, organized department, adapting to caseload changes
