Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification/licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated knowledge and experience in X-Ray, DXA, Fluoroscopy, OR imaging, Portables, and CT scans Understanding of age-specific care and ability to meet evolving patient needs Commitment to upholding confidentiality and Service Excellence Standards Proficiency in maintaining accurate imaging documentation and data for accreditation purposes Capability to perform independently after initial training and orientation
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with flexible scheduling, opportunities for work-life balance, and premium compensation
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional and positive image with patients and staff Verify patient identity using dual identifiers and follow exam requisition protocols Ensure correct procedures by double-checking orders and seeking clarification as necessary Explain procedures thoroughly, addressing patient concerns to provide reassurance Select appropriate technical factors for imaging and position patients for optimal results Review images for quality before submitting for radiologist interpretation Monitor equipment function and patient safety throughout procedures Adhere to all policy, confidentiality, and accrediting body requirements
