Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential by supporting learners with visual impairments in a dynamic school environment near Williamsport, PA. This contract position is tailored for compassionate educators specializing in teaching students who are blind or visually impaired. Utilize your expertise to make a meaningful difference and help students thrive academically and personally.
Qualifications/Experience Sought:
Valid teaching certification in Visual Impairment or endorsement as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Previous experience working with children or adolescents with visual impairments in a school setting Extensive knowledge of IEP development and implementation for visually impaired students Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Current understanding of Braille instruction, assistive technologies, and adaptive devices Organization and flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
