Teaching Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time) — Ages 015

Position Summary The AMI Teaching Assistant supports the Lead Guide/Teacher in maintaining a prepared Montessori environment and assisting children throughout the day. Candidates should demonstrate warmth, professionalism, patience, and a genuine love of working with children across various developmental stages. Infant & Toddler (0-3) Primary (3-6) Elementary (6-12) Adolescent Program (12-15) Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Responsibilities Support the Lead Guide in maintaining an organized and peaceful Montessori classroom Assist with classroom preparation, materials, and daily routines Observe and support children respectfully and positively Help supervise indoor and outdoor activities Promote independence, grace, and courtesy, and social-emotional development Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment Communicate professionally with staff and families Assist with transitions, snack/lunch routines, and classroom management as needed

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
