The Opportunity:
The Team Lead supports daily manufacturing operations by serving as a working leader on the production floor. This role helps coordinate workflow, reinforce standard work, and provide day-to-day guidance to team members to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met. This position is ideal for a high-performing manufacturing team member who is ready to take the next step in leadership development. The Team Lead will support training efforts, help identify production issues, and act as a communication link between the production team and leadership while continuing to work hands-on within the operation. This role reports to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

What You'll Do:
Production Support & Coordination Support daily production activities to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Assist with coordinating workflow and task assignments within the team. Help reinforce daily production priorities and standard work expectations. Monitor work progress and communicate delays, shortages, or production concerns to leadership. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Serve as a hands-on resource for team members throughout the shift. Team Guidance & Training Support Provide day-to-day support and direction to team members on the floor. Assist with onboarding and training new employees on standard work and safety procedures. Reinforce quality and productivity expectations. Help support cross-training efforts within the department. Encourage teamwork, accountability, and positive communication among team members. Problem Identification & Continuous Improvement Support Identify and communicate safety, quality, or production issues to leadership. Assist with resolving minor production issues within the work area. Support implementation of process improvements and updated work instructions. Provide feedback to supervisors and managers on opportunities to improve workflow or efficiency.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, preferred. Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent performance. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow. Ability to lead by example and support a team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
