Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a technical expert who excels at building bridges between complex HVAC data and long-term client success. While this role involves precise estimating and blueprint analysis, your primary mission is to serve as a trusted advisor to our existing client base. You will manage the full lifecycle of a bid—from reviewing incoming requests to proactively following up with general contractors and architects to ensure our solutions align with their budget and goals.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for established clients, general contractors, and engineering partners.
Technical Estimation:
Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for Testing & Balancing (TAB), Duct Leak Testing, Commissioning, and IAQ.
Bid Optimization:
Review daily incoming bids to identify the best opportunities.
Collaborative Strategy:
Partner with our in-house project managers and sales teams to ensure quotes are accurate and align with historical pricing in our CRM (Pipedrive).
Proactive Outreach:
Maintain high-touch communication via phone and email to clarify project scopes, resolve technical discrepancies, and secure project wins.
Database Integrity:
Keep our estimating tools and historical data precise to ensure lightning-fast turnarounds for our recurring customers.
What We Are Looking For Industry Expertise:
No previous experience is required if you have great character, ethics, and aptitude and are detailed with great organization and communication skills. You must have an outgoing personality that prefers conversations over emails to close a deal.
System Knowledge:
ability to learn and understand commercial HVAC equipment, installation standards, and testing classifications. We will provide training The "Consultant"
Mindset:
You aren't just a "numbers person"; you are a confident communicator who enjoys picking up the phone to help a client solve a problem.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in all Microsoft products, experience with Pipedrive or similar CRMs is a major plus.
Detail Driven:
