Description Verisk is seeking a Personal Auto Senior Actuarial Associate to drive innovation and strategy for ISO's Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Personal Umbrella products. The role involves leading advanced actuarial research, collaborating across divisions, and representing Verisk to customers and regulators. Candidates must possess deep expertise in personal auto pricing, strong analytical and communication skills, and be a Fellow (FCAS) of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Verisk is seeking a Personal Auto Senior Actuarial Associate to provide product expertise for the Personal Auto Actuarial Products Division, which is responsible for ISO's Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Personal Umbrella products. This role drives actuarial innovation, product strategy, and market competitiveness. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and collaboration across ISO/Verisk divisions (Actuarial Operations, Compliance, Product Services, Government Relations, etc.) to enhance and innovate ISO Personal Auto products and integrate them into ISO's Personal Auto Program. Guide and contribute to advanced actuarial research on new modeling techniques, data sources, and analytical approaches to strengthen Personal Auto pricing and product offerings. Serve as a senior subject matter expert by leading responses to customer and regulatory inquiries, delivering product presentations, and guiding the development of marketing materials, publications, and industry communications. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments. Assist the innovation, modernization, and ongoing evolution of the ISO Personal Auto Insurance Program. Ensure customer specifications, regulatory expectations, and contractual commitments are met while maintaining high actuarial standards and product quality. Drive a strong culture of quality, accountability, and customer focus across the Personal Auto actuarial organization. Lead interactions with regulatory authorities to support loss cost filings, filing strategies, and the introduction of new or enhanced Personal Auto products, including representation at state insurance departments and industry forums. Represent Verisk at industry conferences, customer meetings, and professional forums; occasional travel required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; relevant advanced degrees would be an advantage Associate (ACAS) required. Fellow (FCAS) preferred. Advanced Excel skills required; strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, predictive modeling tools, or business rules engines strongly preferred. Deep expertise in Personal Auto pricing, predictive modeling, and advanced data analysis. Demonstrated success leading actuarial product development initiatives and partnering directly with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders. Displayed ability to manage teams or lead projects, ensuring the successful execution of actuarial initiatives and fostering professional development within the group. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex actuarial concepts for technical and non technical audiences. Proven ability to operate independently while working with cross functional teams and influencing at senior levels.
