Job Description

A leading insurance organization is seeking an Associate Actuary to join its Asset Projection team. This group is responsible for scenario generation and asset projections supporting both product lines and enterprise-level reporting. The role offers strong visibility, hands-on technical work, and exposure to key monthly and quarterly processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly asset projections and economic scenarios within reporting cycles
  • Support scenario generation and asset projection work using ESG and Moody's AXIS platforms
  • Research, test, validate, and implement improvements to asset and scenario models
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage timelines, deliverables, and communication
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business and corporate initiatives
  • Ensure all work aligns with actuarial and model governance standards
  • Contribute to broader product line and enterprise initiatives as needed Qualifications
  • ASA designation required
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in actuarial and/or asset-focused roles
  • Strong experience with actuarial asset projections
  • Hands-on experience with
GGY AXIS
(including Datalink preferred)
  • Exposure to Life, Annuity, and/or Long-Term Care products
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear, effective communication and collaboration skills Nice to
Have:
  • Programming experience (Python, VBA, SQL, or MATLAB)
  • Cash flow testing or reporting experience
  • Model conversion or enhancement experience
