This role is responsible for supporting athlete health, performance, and readiness through the collection, analysis, and application of performance data. The Sports Scientist utilizes evidence-based practices and advanced technologies to provide actionable insights that support individual and team performance objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect, manage, and analyze athlete performance data from wearable technologies, GPS systems, force plates, wellness questionnaires, and other monitoring platforms. Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights regarding athlete readiness, workload, recovery, and performance trends. Conduct testing protocols and performance assessments throughout the year. Monitor training loads and provide recommendations to coaching and performance staff. Design and implement evidence-based monitoring strategies that support athletic development and performance enhancement. Assist in developing individualized performance and recovery programs. Collaborate with strength and conditioning coaches to evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions. Utilize sports science principles to support return-to-play and injury mitigation strategies. Work closely with coaches, athletic trainers, medical staff, nutritionists, and performance personnel to align athlete management strategies. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in daily performance meetings and athlete management discussions. Stay current on advancements in sports science, athlete monitoring, and performance technology. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and best practices. Contribute to internal research projects and performance initiatives. Maintain accurate athlete performance databases and records. Ensure data quality, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies. Develop standard operating procedures for data collection and reporting. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, Biomechanics, Human Performance, or a related field. Current
