Job Description
The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests. Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 17th - Aug. 6th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN. As an AI Solutions Intern, you will partner with the AI Center of Excellence and business stakeholders to identify and transform a meaningful business workflow using Allied's Enterprise AI Assistant. You will gain hands-on experience across the solution lifecycle; from understanding the current workflow and envisioning an improved future state through designing, testing, launching, and supporting an AI-enabled solution. The internship emphasizes delivering measurable business value, working collaboratively with users, and recognizing that successful solutions require thoughtful enablement and adoption in addition to technology. Job Duties and Responsibilities With guidance from the AI team, explore potential use cases and help select a business workflow that could be meaningfully improved through the Enterprise AI Assistant. Work directly with business stakeholders to learn and document the current workflow, user needs, pain points, and desired outcomes. Help envision and map a future-state workflow that improves how the work is performed. Design, test, and refine a custom Enterprise AI Assistant solution in collaboration with business subject-matter experts and AI team members. Support the solution through Allied's review, approval, publication, and pilot-launch process. Create user guidance and assist with demonstrations, training, and other activities that support adoption. Gather usage information and user feedback to evaluate initial business value and recommend improvements. Present the completed pilot, results, and lessons learned to business stakeholders and AI leadership. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA ) Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a r ising Junior or S enior , pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business or Data Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science , or related field. Strong interest in artificial intelligence, business-process improvement, workflow transformation, and enterprise technology. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity about how people, processes, and technology work together. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an interest in working directly with business and technical stakeholders. Ability to learn unfamiliar tools, seek feedback, and work through ambiguity with guidance.
