Senior AI Engineer Location:
Hybrid -
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Compensation:
Targeting ~$170-180K base depending on experience

Must be able to work hybrid in the DFW area SNI Technology has partnered with a client in the DFW area seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a newly created team focused on building next-generation AI agent solutions. This is a highly hands-on individual contributor role centered around the development, implementation, and optimization of practical AI-driven applications and autonomous agent frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Databricks, Generative AI technologies, and real-world AI agent development. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building and deploying scalable AI solutions rather than focusing strictly on architecture, strategy, or leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for enterprise applications Develop scalable GenAI solutions utilizing modern LLM frameworks and orchestration tools Work extensively within Databricks to support AI/ML model development, data processing, and deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and AI-driven business solutions Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms Optimize AI models and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices Participate in proof-of-concepts, experimentation, and production implementation of AI solutions Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Strong experience with Generative AI technologies and LLM-based applications Experience building and implementing AI agents or autonomous AI workflows in production environments Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML development frameworks Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering Ability to operate independently in a highly technical individual contributor role Preferred Qualifications Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks Experience with Azure AI, OpenAI, or cloud-based AI services Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector search technologies Experience deploying scalable AI applications in enterprise environments #SNIT
