Skills and Requirements 12-15+ years in software/data engineering, with 3+ years in AI/ML architecture Track record of architecting systems used at significant scale (millions of users, petabyte-scale data, or mission-critical enterprise systems) Deep, hands-on expertise in modern AI architectures: transformers, LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, fine-tuning/RLHF, inference optimization Proven experience setting technical strategy that spans multiple teams or business units Excellent collaboration, influencing, evangelization, negotiation, coaching, mentoring, and coalition-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communications. Deep knowledge of AI governance, safety, and regulatory landscape (HIPAA, TCPA, CCPA etc.. ) Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Healthcare and/or Retail industry domain knowledge Published research, patents, or open-source contributions in AI/ML Experience architecting systems across multiple cloud providers or hybrid/on-prem environments and SAS vendors Master's Degree is desired.
