Job Description:
InDev is seeking a Principal Automation & AI Architect responsible for imagining, designing, building, and deploying innovative solutions that support mission outcomes across the homeland security market. In this role you will bridge the gap between Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) platforms and modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, through operational requirements, enterprise architecture designs, and delivering solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with the homeland security mission.
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Architectural Expert
  • Creating logical and physical architectures, designing new patterns, and developing methodologies that solve complex technical challenges. Technical Advisor
  • Analyzing business requirements and recommending the most effective tech solutions to meet organizational goals. Technical Demonstrator
  • Building POCs and prototypes that validate solutions and showcase how specific technologies can address real customer challenges. Customer Advocate
  • Understanding client needs, representing their interests, and channeling feedback to product teams for continuous improvement. Technical Trainer
  • Sharing knowledge with teams, conducting training sessions, and helping stakeholders understand the implications of architectural decisions. Technology Evangelist
  • Promoting innovative solutions, sharing success stories, and inspiring organizations to embrace new technologies. Strategic Planner
  • Developing technical roadmaps, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring solutions are scalable and future-proof. Cross-Functional Collaborator
  • Bridging the gap between business and technical teams, customers and product teams, aligning diverse stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS U.S.
Citizen; Active Top-Secret Clearance or DHS Public Trust Clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline or a minimum of three (3) years relevant specialized experience 15+ years of management and/or development/architecture experience Experience developing/delivering solutions on ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC) Proficient in cloud-based enterprise application platforms for IT services, operations, and business management Proficient in Scrum Master and IT service delivery solutions Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) Working knowledge of security (e.g., Sailpoint, Okta) Ability to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate them into technical requirements Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance Experience with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders
NICE TO HAVES
Experience with Google Gemini Experience integrating AI solutions with SaaS/PaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.)
Clearance:
U.S. Citizen; Active DHS Clearance, DoD Top Secret Clearance, or Q-level Clearance.
