Life:
The Senior Biostatistician will serve as the data/programming lead for complex studies and will be a client-facing contributor. This individual will lead all data/programming aspects for complex studies from end-to-end. This individual will independently present results and handle client questions related to data and output. This individual will be a technical lead and a study-level owner. This individual will independently oversee analyses and provide strategic programmatic leadership to ensure high-quality and scientifically rigorous real-world evidence generation.- Hiring requirements:
- Education
- Master's degree and/or Doctorate degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field required
- Experience
- Master's is required 3-5 years of applied statistical programming experience using SAS and R in research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or medical setting required Demonstrated experience leading complex observational research studies (e.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in R required; experience with SAS required
- Experience leading database design input, CRF structure, and data validation strategy
- Strong understanding of statistical methodology for observational and longitudinal data analyses
- Ability to independently lead projects, prioritize competing deliverables, and manage multiple timelines effectively
- Strong scientific, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate complex statistical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, reproducible analyses and documentation
- Requires excellent written communication skills and adherence to best practices for statistical programming and code documentation
- Ability to make independent judgments under limited supervision
