Days/Week Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly technical
SAP ABAP
Fiori Consultant to support development initiatives within SAP Finance, Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), and Equipment Leasing. The consultant will work closely with functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical designs, build ABAP and Fiori solutions, support testing, resolve defects, and ensure high-quality, performance-optimized delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, debugging, enhancements, interfaces, CDS/OData, and SAP integrations, along with a solid understanding of SAP FI/CO, SD, Leasing, and RAR business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain
SAP ABAP
objects supporting Leasing, RAR, Finance, and Logistics processes. Design and develop SAP Fiori applications and related Finance solutions. Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, forms, CDS views, OData services, and other SAP technical objects. Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and scalable solutions. Support unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, debugging, and production issue troubleshooting. Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, maintain technical documentation and transport details, and ensure solutions follow SAP development standards, performance best practices, and clean-core principles.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on
SAP ABAP
development experience, including reports, enhancements, BADIs, interfaces, forms, and debugging. Strong SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience, preferably within SAP Finance. Experience with CDS, OData, IDocs, and RFC integrations. Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO and SD processes. Experience supporting SAP development in Leasing, Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR), or closely related Finance processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Equipment Leasing, including sales and operational lease processes. Experience developing and enhancing RAR-related SAP solutions. Strong knowledge of SAP integration patterns and cross-module Finance/Logistics integrations. Experience with clean-core development and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to independently analyze functional specifications and produce high-quality technical designs. Experience supporting complete development lifecycle activities including development, unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across standard and custom SAP objects. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with global onshore/offshore development teams.
