OVERVIEW
Must be a US Person or Permanent Resident Duration - 12 month contract position with potential to be extended or converted W2 with full benefits, 9/80 Work Schedule Customer and contract specific training will be required and provided. Location - NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA (onsite) Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with the Lead ESA to review existing business requirements and gather new requirements from stakeholders. Conduct fit-gap analyses and present options. Map current-state and future-state business workflows. Recommend Oracle configuration updates to optimize business processes. Support ESA in implementing new features and/or system changes aligned with approved functional designs. Troubleshoot application issues through resolution. Log and manage Oracle Service Requests. Create and update functional design documents, technical design documents, and process flows associated with configurations or approved customizations. Develop scalable Oracle
SQL/PLSQL
code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Update existing code to meet evolving requirements. Tune and optimize queries for performance. Build or retrofit interfaces, APIs, and data loaders. Support custom extensions including Form Personalization and custom.pll. Diagnose system bottlenecks, debug functional and technical issues, and apply fixes. Support testing and user training activities. Perform additional duties as directed by project team. Provide bi-weekly status reports.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Demonstrated experience delivering two or more Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle eBS R12.13.x. Deep functional and technical expertise in ODM, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP. Ability to map, fit, and enhance complex "As-Is" business processes into Oracle EBS standard functionality. Expert-level knowledge of ODM/MRP including Inventory setup steps, profile options, and system parameters to optimize performance. Comprehensive understanding of the ODM lifecycle: BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, and Costing. Strong understanding of upstream and downstream integration points.
Strong technical skills:
Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Form personalization, custom.pll, and BI Publisher reports. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with REST APIs. Proficient with MS Office.
DESIRED SKILLS
