Job Description The Business Intelligence & Systems Analyst serves as a subject‑matter expert for the Motivator application, a critical enterprise platform used to track sales, referrals, and performance metrics across multiple business lines—including alliance partnerships—to support incentive programs and performance reporting. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver new initiatives, enhance system functionality, and provide data‑driven insights through reporting and analytics. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to design scalable, high‑quality processes that support enterprise performance management. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Solution Delivery Partner with business lines to support new initiatives and enhancements to existing system functionality. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross‑functional partners to align strategy, solution design, and implementation. Gather, document, and maintain detailed business requirements, including process flows and data integration needs. Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and scalable technical solutions. Systems, Data & Analytics Work with large and complex data sets to generate enterprise‑level reporting and deliver actionable insights. Develop new database processes and enhance existing solutions to improve efficiency, data quality, and scalability. Utilize business intelligence (BI), analytics, and reporting tools to interpret data and support decision‑making. Design and build standardized reporting and analytics processes that support performance measurement and incentive programs. Testing, Release & Production Support Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and new functionality. Develop test schedules, review testing plans, track issues, and report on results. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and respond effectively to production issues in a fast‑paced environment. Provide ongoing application support to ensure system stability, accuracy, and business continuity. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience 10 or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities Preferred Skills / Experience Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience working with large, complex data sets. Hands‑on experience developing reporting and database solutions, including SQL Server and Microsoft Access. Working knowledge of analytics, statistical, and BI tools such as SQL, SAS, Alteryx, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience writing business requirements and supporting cross‑functional, enterprise initiatives. Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, well‑documented technical solutions. Strong project management skills, including planning, testing coordination, issue tracking, and release support. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced capability in Microsoft Access. Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience using Jira to manage project work and production issues. Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams. Prior experience supporting incentive, sales, or performance management systems strongly preferred. Prior knowledge of the Motivator application is a plus. The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
