DUTIES:
Act as Information Technology Project Manager; Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective data analysis and ERP solutions; Assess clients Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Reporting business processes to determine scope and requirements of Odoo ERP software system implementations; Provide expert guidance to clients on selecting the right Odoo software architecture based on their specific needs and budget; Develop and oversee implementation plans for Odoo software ERP systems in Manufacturing and Supply Chain, including timelines, progress tracking, budgeting, quality control, and resource management; Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Odoo ERP software solutions; Ensure system configurations align with business requirements; Manage data migration, integration, and user acceptance testing; Lead training program to end-users on how to use the Odoo ERP software system effectively; Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure successful implementation of the Odoo ERP software system; Support and mentor junior team members for skill development while contributing to nurturing their professional development; 5% to 25% travel to clients locations within the continental US to support implementation projects; and work outside of standard business hours or days including communication with international teams. Remote work from within the
US. REQUIREMENTS
Masters Degree in Information Technology and Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field. Alternatively, Bachelors Degree in one of the foregoing fields or a closely related field and 2 years relevant experience.
Must also have the following:
Certification in ERP software (e.g., Odoo, SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, etc.) or ability to configure and deploy, including configuration, customization, and process mapping to prepare client requirements for implementation, the following ERP core modules: Manufacturing, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, and Accounting. Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain operations sufficient to analyze requirements of manufacturing clients and supply chain operations to enable mapping ERP features to production scheduling, inventory control, and logistics. Proficiency in using enterprise platforms (e.g., Odoo, SAP, MRP, warehouse management, logistics systems) and understanding of procurement, production planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment sufficient to improve at least one performance metric (e.g., order cycle time, forecast accuracy, or inventory turnover) in a business setting. Skill in using data analysis tools such as Power BI, SAS, or similar platforms, with applied knowledge of business analytics and statistics, sufficient to create a dashboard, report, or dataset used to support decisions or drive improvements in a manufacturing or logistics context. Understanding of accounting principles aligned with GAAP, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting, with emphasis on internal controls, data integrity, and cross-functional system integration, sufficient to configure an enterprise accounting system (e.g., Odoo, SAP, NetSuite) to integrate with inventory and manufacturing workflows or to evaluate how an ERP system aligns with client accounting requirements. The above experience, skills, and knowledge may be earned concurrently.
Travel:
5% to 25% within the continental US to support implementation projects.
