Job Description

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Tasks will include writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, and troubleshooting issues. Key responsibilities include supporting business processes, ensuring system functionality meets client requirements, collaborating with functional teams, and performing tasks related to data migration and integrations. The role requires technical skills like SQL and PL/SQL, along with a solid understanding of Oracle EBS modules and business requirements. •
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•+ Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs. +
Integration:
Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using tools like XML Publisher or APIs. + Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment. + System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity. +
Testing:
Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components. +
Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions. •
Required Skills and Experience:
•+ Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent) + Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, along with experience in Oracle EBS development tools and a strong understanding of the EBS application architecture. + Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge with a concentration in GL, Cash Management, and Treasury Management modules experience to include financial accounting experience for transition of legacy financial statements and interrelated data functionality from legacy system to the modules + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues. + A good grasp of business processes, especially in areas like financials (AP, AR, GL) or other functional modules. + Experience with data integrity, system optimization, and working within a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). + A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. + Minimum of 15 years' experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours. + Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer). + Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience. + Procurement and projects costing module experience. •
Desired Skills/Experience:
