Job Description

Schedule Mon - Fri Flex Overview The Sr BI Analyst is a more tenured position that related to the entry level analyst for the central analytics team. This team member must have a sound understanding of strategies and best practices with implementing modern Business Intelligence solutions. The role often times will support 2000+ employees for a given project and therefore needs to understand the breadth and depth of enterprise-wide BI strategies and deployment. Having service-oriented skills is paramount as this position is often the first (and sometimes only) interaction Credit Union staff will have with the department. This individual will either cover a wide array of Credit Union initiatives or hyper focus on a single subject matter. Regardless, the developer will become familiar with business processes and needs to understand the overall impact they have for the Credit Union. Responsibilities Work with Credit Union strategists to implement data visualizations and storytelling Review and resolve basic questions revolving around Tableau and data storytelling Support various Credit Union subject areas such as call centers, branches, underwriting, mortgage, business accounts, etc. using analytics strategies Excellent data domain experience and understanding Exceptional data visualization skills Analyze and interpret data visualizations for Credit Union strategy Promote analytics best practices and standards Familiarize and educate on Credit Union data governance strategies
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience (typically 4+ years working in STEM field profession) 2+ years of experience working an Information Technology or Analytics field. 2+ years of experience working on projects that were highly team oriented. Experienced in a work environment with the terminology and processes of project management Experienced working within enterprise data warehouse environment platforms such as Snowflake, Exadata, Teradata Experience with at least one business intelligence platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc. Experience with Ticketing, and Project Management tools such as those offered in the Atlassian stack (Jira and Confluence).
Core Skills:
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly. Must have prior experience developing analytical solutions in large or midsize companies. Must be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive data, and meet critical deadlines Excellent understanding of SQL, PL/SQL and ELT implementation. Experience with multiple relational database platforms, Oracle and SQL Server desired. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player Understanding of the financial services industry desired Experience with dashboard design and delivery desired Experience using data governance strategies desired
