Job Description
The SAP Analyst is responsible for creation and maintenance of variant configuration (VC) within
SAP. A VC
helps manage the customization of products with multiple options and variations from quoting through manufacturing. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP VC solutions, as well as troubleshooting and supporting existing configurations. Design, develop, and maintain SAP Variant Configuration solutions to meet business needs.
Implement and configure product models, classes, characteristics, and dependencies.
Develop and maintain configuration profiles, selection conditions, and variant tables.
Develop and implement custom logic to handle complex configuration scenarios.
Conduct thorough testing of configuration solutions to ensure accuracy and performance.
Document VC configuration, custom code, and development processes.
Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on VC functionality.
Establish standard practices for: product modeling, configuration rules, pricing, promotions, etc. in coordination with product management.
Drive simplification to minimize product model complexity.
