Interface Developer (Greenfield Transition) to spearhead a critical modernization initiative for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This role is foundational to the agency's digital transformation, transitioning from legacy SAP CRM to a stable, scalable, and well-documented S/4HANA Customer Management (CM) solution. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of a Greenfield implementation, ensuring that custom code, integrations, and user interfaces (Fiori) are optimized for a high-impact federal public health infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
S/4
HANA Development & Greenfield Migration Clean-Slate Engineering:
Execute Greenfield development efforts to transition custom SAP CRM logic into the S/4HANA Customer Management (CM) framework.
Code Optimization:
Re-architect and optimize legacy code for S/4HANA compatibility, ensuring peak performance and adherence to modern SAP standards.
Full Lifecycle Support:
Conduct deep-dive impact analysis, code remediation, unit testing, and deployment support within a structured federal landscape.
Apply industry best practices in Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management.
Documentation:
Maintain rigorous technical documentation to mitigate migration risks and ensure long-term system sustainability
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on
SAP S/4HANA
Greenfield experience. 5+ years of total S/4HANA experience Proven experience with EDI (IDOCS). Hands-on integration experience with SOAP, REST, and BizTalk Deep understanding of Greenfield vs. Brownfield development strategies Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Preferred Requirements:
Prior support for the CDC or other Federal Government programs Active CDC Clearance is a significant plus Experience working in highly regulated public-sector environments
Details Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
