JOB SUMMARY
Salesforce Principal Engineer is primarily responsible for the design, architecture, development, and maintenance of Salesforce Sales Cloud applications, including requirements analysis, development, testing and implementation. He or she should have extensive experience integrating Salesforce with third-party tools using solutions like MuleSoft, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and other integration platforms. The role involves defining roadmaps for upgrades, enhancements, and development efforts, designing solutions, and collaborating in Agile environments. This position expects strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud including Admin and Development.JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Analyze, design, develop & maintain customizations and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud to meet specific business requirements. Integrate Salesforce Sales Cloud with external systems including ERP systems and other third-party applications. Optimize performance and scalability of Salesforce CRM solutions, ensuring performance, storage and data integrity. Conduct user training and provide technical support, as needed, to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new functionality. Responsible for establishing best practices for configuration, design and development in Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and maintaining necessary documentation. Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of Salesforce and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements to existing solutions. Participate in code reviews, Pair-Programming/testing Sessions. Proactive system maintenance. Participate in the full SDLC (Kanban), including requirement analysis, story writing, design and implementation, estimations, and other aspects of iterative development.
