Job Description

OVERVIEW
We are seeking Tableau Developers with varying levels of experience to join Hendall Inc. These roles will focus on architecting and implementing advanced data visualizations and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will leverage your experience in Tableau to transform complex datasets into actionable insights while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Contribute to data visualization strategy, ensuring best practices are followed in data representation and storytelling DUTIES Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and enhance user experience Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for Tableau solutions Support the integration of various data sources into Tableau, ensuring seamless access to critical information Optimize Tableau performance through data source optimization and dashboard tuning Conduct thorough testing and validation of data visualization to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing Stay up to date with the latest Tableau features and advancements, integrating new functionalities into existing dashboards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field 2-6 years of experience in data visualization, specifically using Tableau, with a strong portfolio of dashboard projects Proficient in SQL and data preparation, with experience in data manipulation and ETL processes Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools, and familiarity with BI reporting tools Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including advanced calculations, parameters, and dashboard actions Experience with data preparation tools such as Alteryx or similar Understanding of data warehousing concepts and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from various databases Familiarity with cloud data solutions, such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $140,000 per year depending on years of experience and level of expertise.
