Job Summary:

Cognizant is urgently seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM Technical Lead to support a critical backfill role with Ford. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle HCM modules, integrations, and reporting, along with deep technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and support of Oracle HCM technical solutions Work extensively on BI Publisher reports, data extracts, and document generation Develop and manage integrations using Oracle HCM Cloud tools (HCM Extracts, HDL, APIs, etc.) Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, data discrepancies, and integration failures Provide technical leadership , code reviews, and best practices guidance to the team Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and system scalability Support release cycles, testing, and deployment activities

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of overall IT experience Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM (Cloud preferred) Expertise in: BI Publisher (reports, templates, bursting) Integrations (HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs)

SQL & PL/SQL

development Experience with data migration, reporting, and interface development Strong understanding of HR business processes (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite/hybrid environment Nice to

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Exposure to Fast Formulas Prior experience working with Ford or large enterprise clients
