ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, develop, and analyze the results of complex data queries necessary to identify data quality issues and present results in an easy-to-understand format to end users Develop impactful dashboards that drive actionable insights Provide support to business users by answering BI related questions and provide guidance and ad-hoc data as required in a timely manner Design, implement and deliver reports based on business requirements Troubleshoot and support all BI related production processing Derive business insights and oversee the building of data products from large data sets and communicate relevant findings and risks associated to management and stake holders Perform complex analysis of data at a very granular level and present relevant findings in business terms to business partners Develop test requirements, implement and test reports, track results and records and escalate issues Create ad-hoc queries and modify existing query requests Work with business users to understand reporting and data needs and translate those needs into detailed requirements Analyze possible reporting alternatives in relationship to business need, costs, effectiveness, and information availability requirements Work closely with application architects to design a data model to support application development Create efficient and accurate data sets
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Tableau Desktop Associate Certification a plus Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design Advanced Excel skills Proficient and knowledgeable in design, development and delivery of BI solutions Understanding of relational and unstructured database management concepts SQL data querying and manipulation Proficient with writing/creating reports, business correspondence, and presentations Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and able to communicate with people at all levels PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other software BI Developer I Bachelor's degree in Data, Computer Science, or related field Experience in report design in at least one reporting tool such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS, Cognos, Qlikview, etc. Machine learning knowledge a plus Python scripting a plus BI Developer II Engage with end-users to identify opportunities where data can enable them to make data-driven decisions Automate manual data tasks through workflows and ETL packages Follow guidance from senior team members to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications Data engineering and manipulation of large data sets Administrate application and server environments Perform system monitoring and technical support Troubleshoot and support all BI related production processing Analyze data quality and make recommendations for data preparation Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a BI Developer or relevant experience 2+ years SQL experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. 2+ years of experience in report design in at least one reporting tool such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS, Cognos, Qlikview, etc. MongoDB & Spark experience desired

For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience. 4+ years of experience in report design in at least one reporting tool such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS, Cognos, Qlikview, etc. Tableau Desktop Professional and Server Associate Certification a plus Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification Expert knowledge in traditional relational database concepts and design Efficient in Python (concentration in data science packages) Expert in SQL (DDL & DML) Data design and optimization Advanced query, join operation, and aggregate Ability to troubleshoot technical issues Firm knowledge of Machine Learning and statistics
