Job Description
We're looking for a talented and experienced Lead BI Developer to join our team! In this role, you'll be a key player in transforming business needs into powerful reporting and analytics solutions. You'll partner closely with our Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations teams, leveraging your expertise to design, develop, implement, and transform business requirements into powerful, scalable, and high-performing applications. You will be a technical expert responsible for guiding the design, development, and support of our enterprise reporting and visualization solutions.
Partner with business analysts and functional stakeholders across diverse departments to understand reporting and analytics requirements; lead solution design, create mock-ups, and translate needs into scalable reporting models and intuitive visualizations. Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable semantic models, data layers, and reporting architectures adhering to enterprise best practices and governance standards. Develop, optimize, and maintain data transformation and load scripts, orchestrating Implement and manage granular data access security, including Role-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI or Section Access in QlikView. Provide ongoing enhancements and production support; proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data bottlenecks, refresh failures, and calculation latencies with a sense of urgency. Lead code reviews, enforce coding and architectural standards, and mentor junior-to-mid-level developers to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement. Participate in our Scrum process, taking end-to-end ownership of Jira user stories from conception through to production rollout.
