Job Description

Full-time position for BI Developer on our Revenue Cycle Team. We are seeking a skilled person to support our mission of improving healthcare outcomes through high‑quality data, insightful analytics, and reliable reporting. In this role, you will transform complex clinical, operational, and financial data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Data Integration & ETL:
Build and maintain ETL pipelines; integrate data from EHR, financial, and other systems.
Data Modeling & BI:
Design optimized data models and deliver dashboards, reports, and BI solutions.
Analytics & Reporting:
Clean, analyze, and interpret healthcare data to support operational, clinical, and financial decisions; develop dashboards and perform predictive analytics.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure data accuracy and adherence to HIPAA and healthcare regulations; support data quality assurance efforts.
Collaboration:
Communicate insights into technical and non‑technical teams; partner with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders.
Leadership & Support:
Mentor staff on analytics tools; troubleshoot data and reporting issues. Education & Training Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or related field preferred. Minimum of associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience in IT, statistics, or database management. Epic Cogito Certification is strongly preferred (or ability to obtain within 3 months). Advanced SQL proficiency and strong database design skills. Minimum 3 years of healthcare analytics experience, including work with EHR data, data analysis tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, and data architecture optimization. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Skills & Abilities Upholds strict confidentiality and protects patient and organizational data in accordance with HIPAA Produces clear, professional business and clinical correspondence and reports Communicates effectively with clinicians, leaders, and staff at all levels, navigating both routine and challenging situations with professionalism Build strong working relationships through excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Maintains a polished, professional presence in all interactions Manages multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting needs in a fast‑paced healthcare environment Develops engaging, easy‑to‑understand data visualizations that support informed decision‑making for leadership
Hours, Wage & Benefits Hours:
Monday- Friday 8a-430p
Wage:
Starting at $33.06, with increase depending on experience
