Summary In this role, you will lead the enterprise adoption and continuous evolution of Vizient's AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), driving consistent, scalable, and responsible AI delivery practices across product, engineering, data, and business organizations. You will establish enterprise operating models, governance frameworks, coaching strategies, and organizational enablement programs that strengthen AI delivery maturity, improve organizational readiness, and accelerate AI transformation. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and business stakeholders to advance enterprise AI capabilities while promoting responsible AI, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes. Through strategic leadership, cross-functional partnership, and continuous improvement, you will help embed scalable AI delivery practices that support Vizient's enterprise AI strategy. Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide adoption and continuous improvement of Vizient's AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), establishing scalable operating models, governance practices, coaching frameworks, and delivery standards that enable responsible AI development across the organization. Develop and execute enterprise AI-DLC adoption strategies, maturity models, success metrics, and organizational enablement initiatives that improve delivery consistency, quality, and business outcomes. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership by providing guidance on AI delivery maturity, organizational readiness, governance, transformation planning, delivery effectiveness, and continuous improvement opportunities. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and business leaders to align AI delivery practices with enterprise strategy, governance requirements, and organizational objectives. Lead enterprise transformation initiatives by assessing organizational capabilities, identifying delivery risks and improvement opportunities, and implementing coaching, organizational change, and adoption strategies that accelerate AI maturity. Define, monitor, and communicate enterprise adoption metrics, organizational maturity indicators, key performance measures, and executive reporting to evaluate AI delivery effectiveness and continuous improvement progress. Establish and lead enterprise communities of practice while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, responsible AI adoption, Agile delivery excellence, and organizational capability development. Lead, mentor, and develop AI delivery coaches, transformation leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders while evaluating emerging AI delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, industry trends, and best practices to continuously strengthen Vizient's AI capabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Organizational Leadership, Technology Management, or a related field preferred. 7 or more years of experience leading enterprise Agile transformations, AI delivery, product management, software engineering, organizational change, or related technology leadership functions required. 5 or more years of experience leading Agile, Lean, AI delivery, product management, or enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple teams or organizations required. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise operating models, governance frameworks, organizational maturity models, adoption strategies, coaching programs, and continuous improvement initiatives required. Strong knowledge of AI development lifecycles, responsible AI principles, Agile methodologies, software delivery practices, modern product development, and enterprise governance required. Experience partnering with executive leadership to influence organizational strategy, enterprise transformation, governance, technology delivery, and cross-functional business initiatives required. Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational influence, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to drive measurable business outcomes in complex enterprise environments required. Experience supporting enterprise AI, digital transformation, cloud modernization, or large-scale technology initiatives, along with Agile (SAFe SPC, CSP, ICAgile, or equivalent) and AI governance certifications preferred. #LI-JB1
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan!
