Job Description

Looking for an Inventory Manager for our 120 vehicle Used Car Dealership in Elmont New York Inventory Manager responsibilities include: Checking in all new inventory that arrives at the dealership which includes doing a road test, visual inspection for damages and creating an overall vehicle condition report. Keeping track of where all vehicles are located using our computerized inventory management system. Allocating when and where cars will be repaired. Managing repair shop relationships to determine repair needs, costs and time to completion. Manage vehicle make ready process when vehicles are sold to a customer. Ordering parts for vehicles as determined during the check in process. Coordinating the cleaning and detailing process.
General Requirements:
Good overall knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance (checking fluids, tires etc.) Exceptional communication skills Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Clean driving record with excellent driving skills Positive and friendly demeanor Good overall mechanical aptitude and ability to handle minor mechanical tasks Interest in automobiles and working in the automobile business. $18 per hour paid via W-9 (taxes not taken out) plus weekly productivity pay of $15 to $25 per completed vehicle and monthly performance bonuses. Full time 5 / 6 days per week.
