Job Functions:

The CATIA Programmer is responsible for the creation, execution, and the maintenance of programs and fixture design for a wide range 3 and 5 axis CNC equipment and coordination of the manufacturing processes with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance. ? Program CNC equipment ? Choose cutting tools that will create an efficient and cost-effective part ? Analyze and select speeds and feeds that optimize the cutting process ? Establish processes and procedures ? Design fixtures and work holdings to accommodate CNC Programs ? Create setup sheets and instructions for Machinist ? Optimize and maintain programs files, and production setups ? Troubleshoot and develop solutions to programs and production setups ? Complies with all safety rules and regulations ? Time Management and Organization ? Communicate and collaborate with Engineers and Machinist ? Must be able to handle flexible hours ? Other duties as assigned
