Job Description
This position is located in Office of Commission Appellate Adjudication. The supervisor is Cathy Kanatas. This position is not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements. This job opportunity announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies in the agency.
Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.GG-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this grade level includes: Experience in analyzing an organization's programmatic issues, data, and information; highlighting issues and problems; developing alternatives; and recommending solutions to management. Experience in performing assignments that have required the ability to identify issues and problems. Skill in communicating issues and policies with diverse groups in verbal and written form. Skill in interacting effectively with management and staff, coworkers, and personnel of other offices.GG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Specialized experience for this grade level includes: Demonstrated detailed experience in analyzing a organization's programmatic issues, data, and information; highlighting issues and problems; developing alternatives; and recommending solutions to management. Demonstrated detailed experience in managing a tight deadline workload, evaluating priorities, and making transitions frequently between dissimilar projects with minimal supervision. Extensive experience in performing assignments that have required the ability to identify issues and problems. Demonstrated experience in using written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate complex issues and policies. Superior skill in interacting effectively with management and staff, coworkers, and personnel of other offices.GG-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of the principles and theories of management analysis or program analysis sufficient to perform analyses, evaluations, and studies of programs or processes and reach definite conclusions and recommendations that will lead to management decisions, improvement, efficiencies, and better understanding and documentation of programs or processes. (Describe your level of knowledge and provide examples of the types of analyses, evaluations, and studies you have performed and their results. Describe your ability to or experience in developing consensus positions from various inputs.) 2. Experience, training, and/or knowledge of the Federal and/or NRC budget process, sufficient to represent the Office at budget-related meetings. (EXAMPLE:
