ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the programming and maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment Operates one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment Selects appropriate settings and adjusts as necessary Knowledge of various types of wood and machine procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques Studies blueprints sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements Knowledge of AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and BobCAD for programming. Ability to identify various raw materials, various types of wood and outsourced parts Maintains a safe and well-organized working environment, following all safety procedures as outlined in safety manual
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: At least one year of machining experience Ability to read/interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and other specifications Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper or protractor

Lean manufacturing experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Stand for up to 10 hours at a time Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
