AOI/5DX Programmer Job Purpose This position is responsible for supporting AOI/5DX equipment in our electronic manufacturing plant in Carrollton, TX. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities Creates and maintains programs for the AOI, AXI and SPI equipment Develops and maintains other AOI/5DX related processes, writes profiles and monitors equipment lines to ensure proper program performance, process efficiency, and ongoing quality Works with production, engineering and machine operators to maintain equipment and to ensure efficient operation of work centers to meet production schedules Performs customer specified modifications to programs (ECOs) Troubleshoots process / equipment problems and fault corrections Other duties as required Education and Experience Associate's Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience required 2-4 years of experience supporting AOI/5DX Programming team Understanding of the Production environment Ability to work under deadlines (Programs, ECO) Detail-oriented, fast learner Able to read drawings and other written documents Solid written and oral communication skills Good organization and documentation skills Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas Able to work effectively in a team environment Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required Adherence to health and safety regulations Able to work overtime and weekends as needed Physical Demands Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
