You will serve as the Code 7513 Branch Manager in the Unmanned Undersea Systems Division of

NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Qualifications:

For the ND-04 : In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS-09/11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist supporting projects, conducting system development, research and development and leading small teams related to the Unmanned Undersea Systems portfolio involving rapid prototyping of new experimental payloads, the integration of new technologies into unmanned systems payloads and direct mission based operational support. For the ND-05 : In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist leading personnel and the resourcing and execution of research and development projects, systems development efforts, and technology implementation for the Unmanned Undersea Systems portfolio involving rapid prototyping of new experimental payloads, the integration of new technologies into unmanned systems payloads and direct mission based operational support.
